Visa requirements for Angola

Visa Requirements

Find bellow the requirements for all type of Entry Visa to Angola. All applicants requesting Visa for Angola need to be physically present for fingerprints . Please note that the requirements listed bellow are subject to changes at any time, and should not, in any case be considered all-inclusive. Processing time may vary from 5 to 7 business days. The Consular Office has the right to request for additional information, ask for other documents, as well as to call for interview if necessary.
 
Transit Visa
Application form duly completed and signed by the applicant or by parent/legal guardian in case of minors. Valid passport with at least 3 blank pages for endorsements and must be valid for no less than 6 months.[2] Two recent passport sized colour photographs, copy of itinerary, valid visa to the final destination and letter from the person planning to travel to Angola stating the reason for the visa application. The prescribed fee is R750.
 
Tourist Visa
Application form duly completed and signed by the applicant, parent/legal guardian in case of minors.
Valid passport with at least 3 blank pages for endorsements and must be valid for no less than 6 months. Two recent passport sized colour photographs. Copy of itinerary. Hotel booking/ invitation letter. Yellow Fever Vaccination card. Bank statement. The prescribed fee is R750.
 
Short Stay Visa
Application form duly completed and signed by the applicant, parent/legal guardian in case of minors. Valid passport with at least 3 blank pages for endorsements and must be valid for no less than 6 months. Two recent passport sized colour photographs. Copy of itinerary. Invitation letter.
Employment letter. The prescribed fee is R1000.
 
Ordinary Visa
Application form duly completed and signed by the applicant, parent/legal guardian in case of minors. Valid passport with at least 3 blank pages for endorsements and must be valid for no less than six [6] months. Two recent passport sized colour photographs. Copy of itinerary. Invitation letter. Employment letter. The prescribed fee is R750
 
Study Permit
Application form duly completed and signed by the applicant, parent/legal guardian in case of minors. Valid passport with at least three [3] blank pages for endorsements and must be valid for no less than 18 months. Two recent passport sized colour photographs and copy of itinerary. Letter of acceptance from the educational institution indicating the duration of the course, proof of sufficient funds, proof of medical insurance coverage, medical report, applicants who are 18yrs and older also must present a recent police clearance.
 
Applicants are also required to present a letter declaring that will respect the Angolan government laws. Applicant people under 18 years old must provide details of a person in Angola that will be responsible for the minor, proof of his residence status and letter from the person confirming guardianship. Proof of accommodation for example light statement. Consent from both parents and copy of their ID Cards. The prescribed fee is R3000.
 
Medical Treatment Permit
Application form duly completed and signed by the applicant, parent/legal guardian in case of minors. Valid passport with at least 3 blank pages for endorsements and must be valid for no less than 18 months. Two [2] recent passport sized colour photographs, copy of itinerary and a letter from the applicant’s medical practitioner or medical institution indicating the reason for treatment, the period of treatment. Proof of sufficient fund. The prescribed fee is R3000.
 
Privilege
Application form duly completed and signed by the applicant, parent/legal guardian in case of minors. Valid passport with at least 3 blank pages for endorsements and must be valid for no less than 18 months. Two [2] recent passport sized colour photographs, copy of itinerary and a letter declaring that will respect the Angolan government laws, as well as an approval letter from ANIP (Agência Nacional de Investimento Privado). The prescribed fee is R3000.
 
Work Permit
Application form duly completed and signed by the applicant, parent/legal guardian in case of minors. Valid passport with at least 3 blank pages for endorsements and must be valid for no less than 18 months. Two [2] recent passport sized colour photographs and copy of itinerary, contract of employment containing the signatures of both the employer and employee and the terms and conditions of employment.
 
Applicants also must present a letter of motivation from the employer, copy of business permit to practice. copy of the updated income tax, publication on the Government Gazette, letter of approval from the ministry of tutelage, comprehensive curriculum vitae, proof of qualification (Certificate/Diploma), medical report as well as HIV status, police clearance certificate valid for six month. A letter declaring that will respect the Angolan Government laws. The prescribed fee is R3000.
 
Temporary Residence Permit
Application form duly completed and signed by the applicant, parent/legal guardian in case of minors. Valid passport with at least 3 blank pages for endorsements and must be valid for no less than 18 months. Two [2] recent passport sized colour photographs, copy of itinerary, medical report, police clearance certificate, valid for six [6] months. A letter declaring that will respect the Angolan Government laws. Proof of sufficient fund, letter stating the intention and period of such a residence permit, confirmation letter from family staying in Angola are also required. The prescribed fee is R3000.
 
Residence Permit
Application form duly completed and signed by the applicant, parent/legal guardian in case of minors. Valid passport with at least [3] blank pages for endorsements and must be valid for no less than 18 months. Two [2] recent passport sized colour photographs, copy of itinerary, medical report, police clearance Certificate, valid for six [6] months. A letter declaring that will respect the Angolan Government laws. Proof of sufficient fund, letter stating the intention and period of such a residence permit as well as a confirmation letter from the family staying in Angola are also required. The prescribed fee is R3000.
